INTRODUCTION

See Me is an original musical film about the power of hope and connection during a global pandemic. Filmed as a cinematic musical experience, See Me poetically interweaves the musical contributions of orchestras and choirs in Afghanistan, Austria, Brazil, China, Italy, South Africa and the United States, into a singular moment of beauty and unity that will remind us for years to come of this very moment in history.
Produced and filmed in the fall of 2020 in the face of the extraordinary challenges posed by the COVID pandemic, the film itself is a testament to the perseverance of artists and the universal need for self-expression. Created in collaboration with women conductors and young musicians from around the world, the film manifests the possibility of a new, more inclusive era post-pandemic.
The world premiere of See Me: A Global Concert took place on January 24, 2021 as part of the Opening Ceremony of the World Economic Forum’s Davos Agenda virtual event.
